Role description
Snowflake Data Engineer (Contract) | London (Hybrid) | £500–£650 per day (Inside IR35) Peaple Talent are working with a data-focused consultancy who partner with a range of enterprise clients to deliver modern cloud data solutions. They’re currently looking for a Snowflake Data Engineer to support multiple client engagements as part of an ongoing data transformation practice. 💻 The Role This is a hands-on Snowflake Data Engineering contract where you’ll be working across different client environments, helping design, build and optimise cloud-based data platforms. The work will span greenfield builds through to modernisation of existing data estates, all centred around Snowflake. You’ll be operating in cloud environments (AWS or Azure depending on the client), delivering scalable and well-structured data solutions that support analytics, reporting, and downstream use cases. 🔧 Key Responsibilities • Design and implement scalable data models within Snowflake • Build and optimise data pipelines using modern ELT approaches • Support migration and modernisation of legacy data platforms into Snowflake • Improve performance, cost efficiency and scalability of Snowflake environments • Work across client stakeholders including Data Engineers, Analysts and Architects • Support data quality, governance and best practice across delivery ✅ What We’re Looking For • Strong hands-on Snowflake experience in a Data Engineering role • Proven experience building and optimising data pipelines (ELT/ETL) • Experience working across cloud environments (AWS or Azure) • Strong SQL skills with exposure to large-scale data processing • Experience with tools such as dbt, Airflow or similar orchestration frameworks • Good understanding of data modelling and warehouse design principles • Comfortable working across multiple stakeholders and client environments 🎁 What’s on Offer • Day Rate: £500–£650 (Inside IR35) • Location: London • Remote working: Hybrid • Initial 6-month contract (strong likelihood of extension) • Exposure to multiple enterprise client environments • Opportunity to work on a variety of Snowflake transformation programmes within a consultancy setting Snowflake Data Engineer (Contract) | London (Hybrid) | £500–£650 per day (Inside IR35)
