Role description
Responsibilities Kforce has a client that is seeking a Snowflake Data Engineer in Columbia, MO. Summary: We are seeking a Snowflake Data Engineer to help build and optimize modern data solutions that support enterprise reporting, analytics, and business intelligence initiatives. This role will work closely with technical and business teams to develop scalable data platforms, streamline data movement, and ensure reliable access to high-quality information. Key Tasks: β€’ Design and support cloud-based data solutions that enable reporting, analytics, and operational decision-making β€’ Develop and maintain data pipelines that move information efficiently across multiple systems and platforms β€’ Optimize data storage, performance, and processing within Snowflake environments β€’ Partner with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions β€’ Improve reliability, scalability, and automation across data integration processes β€’ Support data governance, quality, and security initiatives to ensure trusted business information β€’ Troubleshoot data flow issues, identify root causes, and implement long-term improvements Requirements β€’ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred β€’ 4+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL development, or data platform support β€’ Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake and cloud-based data environments β€’ Experience building data pipelines, integrations, and transformation processes β€’ Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell β€’ Familiarity with data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and modern analytics platforms β€’ Understanding of data quality, governance, lineage, and lifecycle management practices β€’ Experience working within AWS, Azure, or similar cloud ecosystems β€’ Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues β€’ Experience with data integration and orchestration tools is highly preferred The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
