Senior Snowflake Data Engineer Representing a Leading Technology Transformation Consultancy Role: Senior Snowflake Data Engineer (Consultant) Location: London (Hybrid/City) Day Rate: Up to £700 per day Status: INSIDE IR35 The Mandate: Snowflake Transformation Our client, a top technology consultancy, seeks a Senior Snowflake Data Engineer (3-7+ years experience) to lead critical cloud data modernization projects for enterprise clients in London. This is a high-impact, client-facing contract role. Core Responsibilities The Consultant will deliver strategic outcomes, including: • Architecture & Design: Design and implement scalable Snowflake data warehouse solutions and complex data models. • ELT & dbt: Lead the development of high-performance ELT pipelines and data transformation logic using dbt. • Optimization: Expertly tune Snowflake for efficiency, ensuring optimal query performance and cost control. • Consulting: Act as the SME in client discussions, translating business needs into technical roadmaps and ensuring best practices (Airflow, CI/CD). Required Expertise Candidates must demonstrate proven, production-level experience with: • Snowflake Mastery (Architecture, Admin, Optimisation). • Expert SQL and strong professional Python skills. • The Modern Data Stack: dbt and Apache Airflow. • Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP data services). • Client Engagement and technical leadership in a consulting environment.
