Job Description: Snowflake Developer
Location: Metropark, NJ (Onsite 2β3 days per week)
Interview Location: New York
Start Date: December 1
Experience: 10+ years
Responsibilities
β’ Design, develop, and optimize Snowflake data warehouse solutions to support Bankβs financial and regulatory reporting.
β’ Build and maintain ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) for seamless integration across banking systems.
β’ Develop Python scripts for automation, data processing, and advanced analytics.
β’ Write and optimize complex SQL queries for large-scale financial datasets ensuring performance and accuracy.
β’ Collaborate with business stakeholders in banking and capital markets to translate requirements into technical solutions.
β’ Ensure compliance with financial domain standards including data security, auditability, and regulatory guidelines (Basel III, AML, KYC).
β’ Partner with data governance teams to maintain data quality and lineage across enterprise systems.
β’ Support ad-hoc reporting and analytics for risk management, treasury, and investment banking functions.
β’ Work closely with onshore/offshore teams to deliver scalable solutions within project timelines.
Required Experience

β’ Azure Data Factory (ADF) β 3+ years
β’ Python Programming β 3+ years
β’ SQL (Advanced) β 7+ years
β’ Overall IT/Data Engineering Experience β 10+ years
Preferred Qualifications
β’ Experience with Databricks β 2+ years
β’ Exposure to banking and financial services domain, especially:
β’ Risk & Compliance (AML, Basel III, SOX)
β’ Capital Markets & Treasury Data
β’ Regulatory Reporting (SEC, OCC, Fed)
β’ Customer & Transaction Data Management
β’ Strong understanding of data governance, lineage, and quality frameworks.
β’ Certifications such as:
β’ SnowPro Core Certification (Snowflake)
β’ Microsoft Azure Data Engineer Associate
β’ Databricks Certified Data Engineer (optional)
β’ Excellent communication skills to interact with business stakeholders and technical teams.
