Job Description: Snowflake Developer Location: Metropark, NJ (Onsite 2–3 days per week) Interview Location: New York Start Date: December 1 Experience: 10+ years Responsibilities • Design, develop, and optimize Snowflake data warehouse solutions to support Bank’s financial and regulatory reporting. • Build and maintain ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) for seamless integration across banking systems. • Develop Python scripts for automation, data processing, and advanced analytics. • Write and optimize complex SQL queries for large-scale financial datasets ensuring performance and accuracy. • Collaborate with business stakeholders in banking and capital markets to translate requirements into technical solutions. • Ensure compliance with financial domain standards including data security, auditability, and regulatory guidelines (Basel III, AML, KYC). • Partner with data governance teams to maintain data quality and lineage across enterprise systems. • Support ad-hoc reporting and analytics for risk management, treasury, and investment banking functions. • Work closely with onshore/offshore teams to deliver scalable solutions within project timelines. Required Experience • Snowflake Development – 2+ years • Azure Data Factory (ADF) – 3+ years • Python Programming – 3+ years • SQL (Advanced) – 7+ years • Overall IT/Data Engineering Experience – 10+ years Preferred Qualifications • Experience with Databricks – 2+ years • Exposure to banking and financial services domain, especially: • Risk & Compliance (AML, Basel III, SOX) • Capital Markets & Treasury Data • Regulatory Reporting (SEC, OCC, Fed) • Customer & Transaction Data Management • Strong understanding of data governance, lineage, and quality frameworks. • Certifications such as: • SnowPro Core Certification (Snowflake) • Microsoft Azure Data Engineer Associate • Databricks Certified Data Engineer (optional) • Excellent communication skills to interact with business stakeholders and technical teams.
