Role description
Senior Snowflake Developer responsible for building scalable batch and streaming data pipelines on AWS and Azure.
Responsibilities
• Design and maintain Snowflake‑based data pipelines.
• Build and optimize batch and real‑time data ingestion.
• Develop transformations using Snowflake SQL and Python.
• Monitor pipeline performance, reliability, and data quality.
• Collaborate with data, DevOps, and analytics teams.
• Maintain technical documentation and support CI/CD deployments.
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years in data engineering; 3+ years with Snowflake.
• Strong Snowflake SQL, performance tuning, and data modeling skills.
• Experience with AWS (S3, Lambda) and/or Azure (ADF, Event Hubs, Blob).
• Proficient in Python and Git.
• Knowledge of data security and governance best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
• Snowflake certifications.
• Experience with Terraform/CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, BI tools, and data quality frameworks.
Rate: $65-85/HR
