firstPRO is now accepting resumes for a Snowflake Engineer role in Boston, MA. This is a 6+month contract to hire role and onsite 3 days per week.
β’ RESPONSIBILITIES: List and describe this positionβs principal responsibilities in concise, comprehensive statements.Design and Development: Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable and reliable data pipelines and data warehouse solutions using Snowflake and AWS technologies. Design and implement efficient database models, schemas and structures.
β’ Platform Administration: Administer and manage the Snowflake environment, including performance tuning, cost optimization, user access control, user onboarding/offboarding, and workload management to ensure optimal performance and security.
β’ AI Solution Development: Design, build and implement modern AI solutions (both in-house and third-party), integrated with Snowflake Cortex, Amazon Bedrock and other AI/ML models.
β’ Reporting Tools Management: Manage and support reporting and business intelligence (BI) tools and platforms. Configure custom reports.
β’ Minimum of 8+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering and software development
β’ Proven experience working in the banking or financial services industry.
β’ 6+ years hands-on experience and advanced-level expertise in Snowflake data warehousing and data platform management.
β’ 4+ years hands-on experience and advanced-level expertise in AWS cloud services and data-related technologies.
