Role description
Position Summary:
Snowflake Engineer will lead the development and optimization of Snowflake-based data solutions to support portfolio analytics, client reporting, compliance, and investment research for our Private Wealth Management client. The role requires hands-on experience with data modeling, ELT/ETL design, performance tuning, and integration with financial systems.
Required Skills and Experience:
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with 3+ years specifically in Snowflake development.
• Strong SQL skills and ability to optimize complex queries and data pipelines.
• Deep understanding of Snowflake architecture, role-based security, and performance optimization.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Shell.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control (Git).
Preferred Qualifications:
• Snowflake Certification (SnowPRO Core or Advanced).
• Understanding of financial products such as equities, fixed income, mutual funds, and alternative investments.
