We are looking for a Cloud Engineer “Snowflake Engineer” with at least 6+ years of IT experience. Any previous Banking/ Finance domain is a nice to have.

Job Summary:
Joining the Platform Engineering team within the EDO, this person will be apart of helping best optimize the Snowflake Platform as they scale its usage across the bank and prepare for the integration of a new Bank. This person will need to help drive best practices of Configuration, optimization, and observability as they scale the platform across the enterprise. This person will be a go to on a platform team and helping lead some of the most important work as acquisition work begins.
Desired Experience/ Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Snowflake Engineer or Snowflake DBA or in a similar role managing cloud-based data platforms.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and performance tuning techniques.
- Deep understanding of Snowflake architecture, including virtual warehouses, storage layers, and caching mechanisms.
- Experience with data security frameworks and compliance standards.
- Familiarity with ETL/ELT tools and data integration frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
