Role description
Our client, a leading organization in data management and cloud solutions, is seeking a Snowflake Informatica Engineer to join their team. As a Snowflake Informatica Engineer, you will be part of the Data Integration Department supporting cross-functional teams. Job Title: Snowflake Informatica Engineer Location: Remote Pay Range: $70-$75 per hour What's the Job? โ€ข Redesign and migrate existing Informatica PowerCenter workflows to Informatica Cloud (IICS) on Azure, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and data integrity. โ€ข Perform end-to-end development, testing, and validation of migrated components to guarantee quality and reliability. โ€ข Leverage Snowflake metadata to identify query performance bottlenecks and implement tuning measures for improved efficiency and cost control. โ€ข Monitor and fine-tune Snowflake environment for optimal performance and resource utilization. โ€ข Collaborate with operations partners and cross-functional teams to plan deployment strategies and ensure a seamless transition of data pipelines and Snowflake enhancements. What's Needed? โ€ข 5+ years of experience in data integration and ETL development, with substantial expertise in Informatica PowerCenter (v9.x or higher). โ€ข Hands-on experience migrating Informatica PowerCenter to Informatica Cloud (IICS/IDMC) on Azure, including redesigning ETL pipelines. โ€ข Strong proficiency in Snowflake, including writing complex SnowSQL queries and using metadata for performance tuning. โ€ข Excellent SQL and data modeling skills for data warehouse design and metadata management. โ€ข Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively with stakeholders.
