Software Business Analyst / Solutions Analyst – Contract • Outside IR35 • Horsham (3 days per week) • 12 month+ contract We’re supporting a Legal AI Consultancy as they continue to build out their internal technology function. This is a key hire, working closely with the CTO to drive multiple software initiatives across the business. About the Role: This is a hands on, pragmatic Software Business Analyst role sitting at the intersection of business operations, software delivery, and system architecture. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions, helping shape systems and processes without disrupting day to day operations. What You Need: • Proven experience as a Software Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Solutions Analyst • Strong experience gathering requirements, writing user stories, and managing backlogs/UAT • Solid understanding of SDLC (Agile or hybrid) and managing multiple projects • Ability to advise on system architecture, integrations, and technical solutions • Strong stakeholder management skills, especially with non-technical teams • Pragmatic, confident approach — able to challenge, advise, and drive outcomes Nice to Have: • Experience in a scale-up or SME environment • Exposure to AI/ML or Agentic AI solutions • Familiarity with APIs, integrations, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) • Understanding of legal tech, data protection, or secure platforms Interested?
