Role description
JOB TITLE: Software Full-stack Developer LOCATION: San Jose, CA (Hybrid; 4 days in office/week) PAY RANGE: $78 - $88/hr. DURATION: 12 Months TOP SKILLS: β€’ Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS/SCSS, with experience using vanilla JavaScript, React or Vue.js, and building Node.js backend services/APIs. β€’ Experience working with RESTful APIs, OpenAPI specifications, and AWS cloud services, including Lambda and DynamoDB. β€’ Preferred experience with enterprise CMS platforms (AEM, Strapi, or comparable headless CMS), serverless AWS systems, AI/LLM technologies (AWS Bedrock), and vector databases or semantic search systems. Duties: β€’ Develop and sustain scalable web applications and digital platforms that support high-traffic environments. β€’ Develop reusable and modular frontend components employing modern JavaScript frameworks such as React or Vue.js. β€’ Develop backend services using Node.js to support APIs, integrations, and middleware services. β€’ Build and manage DynamoDB schemas and data models to support scalable serverless architectures. β€’ Develop and sustain AWS Lambda functions and event-driven workflows. β€’ Collaborate with AWS cloud services and enterprise stacks like AWS Ethos, ensuring scalable and secure service integrations. β€’ Optimize websites and services for performance, accessibility, SEO, and user engagement. β€’ Integrate and coordinate RESTful APIs and services outlined using OpenAPI specifications. β€’ Support AI-assisted workflows, including embedding generation, vector search, and intelligent content retrieval. β€’ Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, product managers, and marketing teams to deliver high-quality digital experiences. β€’ Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical decision-making for cloud and AI-enabled systems. Skills: β€’ Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS/SCSS. β€’ Need to be comfortable working with vanilla JavaScript outside of a framework. β€’ Experience working with contemporary frontend frameworks like React or Vue.js. β€’ Experience building Node.js backend services or APIs. β€’ Experience interacting with RESTful APIs and OpenAPI specifications. β€’ Experience with AWS cloud services, such as Lambda and DynamoDB. β€’ Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. β€’ Ability to work effectively in Agile or collaborative team environments. Preferred Qualifications: β€’ Experience working with enterprise CMS platforms (AEM, Strapi, or comparable headless CMS), serverless systems on AWS, AI/LLM technologies like AWS Bedrock, and vector databases or semantic search systems. Education: β€’ Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field OR Web Development Diploma (or equivalent practical experience).
