As part of our engineering team, you will contribute to the verification and validation of embedded avionics software, ensuring compliance with DO-178C and supporting the development of high-integrity aerospace systems. About the role We are seeking an experienced Software V&V Lead to drive verification and validation activities for safety-critical embedded avionics software. In this role, you will be responsible for software testing, structural coverage analysis, instrumentation build creation, coverage analysis, and integration testing while ensuring compliance with aerospace certification standards, including DO-178B and DO-178C. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams to develop and execute test strategies, analyze defects, ensure requirements traceability, and support certification efforts. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in aerospace software verification, embedded systems testing, RTRT-based testing activities, and safety-critical software development environments. General Expectation 1\.      10+ years of experience in aerospace/avionics software verification and validation (V&V) for safety-critical embedded systems. 2\.      Strong expertise in DO-178B / DO-178C compliance, software verification processes, and certification support activities. 3\.      Hands-on experience with Structural Coverage Analysis (SCA), instrumentation build creation, and coverage analysis using RTRT tools. 4\.      Proficiency in embedded software testing methodologies, including unit testing, integration testing (SSIT/HSIT), and system-level testing. 5\.      Strong programming knowledge in C and/or Ada, with the ability to analyze software behavior and troubleshoot complex issues. 6\.      Experience with requirements and configuration management tools such as DOORS, Synergy CM/Change, Polarion, and SVN. 7\.      Excellent analytical, documentation, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills, with the ability to lead testing activities in a regulated aerospace environment. What is needed ·        Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field. ·        10+ years of experience in aerospace/avionics software verification and validation for embedded systems. ·        Strong hands-on experience with DO-178B / DO-178C standards and software certification activities. ·        Expertise in Structural Coverage Analysis (SCA), instrumentation build creation, and coverage analysis using RTRT tools. ·        Experience in software testing methodologies, including black-box, white-box, boundary value analysis, unit testing, integration testing (SSIT/HSIT), and system-level testing. ·        Proficiency in C and/or Ada programming languages used in avionics and embedded software development. ·        Experience with requirements management and configuration/change management tools such as DOORS, Synergy CM/Change, Polarion, and SVN, along with strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills. Experience ·        10+ years of experience in Software Verification & Validation (V&V) within the Aerospace/Avionics domain. ·        6+ years of hands-on experience with DO-178B / DO-178C software verification and certification activities. ·        6+ years of experience using RTRT (Rational Test RealTime) for Structural Coverage Analysis (SCA) and testing activities. ·        Proven experience in instrumentation build creation, coverage analysis, and verification of safety-critical embedded software. ·        Strong background in unit testing, integration testing (SSIT/HSIT), and system-level testing within regulated environments. ·        Experience working with avionics software developed in C and/or Ada. ·        Hands-on experience with requirements management, configuration management, and change control tools such as DOORS, Synergy CM/Change, Polarion, and SVN.
