Role description
Job Title: TIBCO Spotfire Developer โ€“ Life Sciences Domain Location: Remote role Position Summary We are seeking an experienced TIBCO Spotfire Developer with hands-on expertise in developing advanced analytics and visualization solutions for Life Sciences clients, particularly in Pharma R&D, Clinical, Regulatory, or Commercial data environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing interactive dashboards, integrating data from multiple sources, and providing analytical insights to support data-driven decision-making within regulated environments. Key Responsibilities โ€ข Design, develop, and maintain Spotfire dashboards, visualizations, and reports to support analytical and operational needs of Life Sciences projects. โ€ข Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and domain experts to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs. โ€ข Work with data from clinical trials, safety, regulatory, manufacturing, or commercial systems (e.g., EDC, CTMS, LIMS, Veeva, Argus, SAP, etc.). โ€ข Implement data wrangling and transformation using IronPython scripting, TERR, R, or Python within Spotfire. โ€ข Optimize dashboard performance and ensure scalability, reusability, and adherence to data governance standards. โ€ข Integrate Spotfire with data sources such as SQL Server, Oracle, Snowflake, AWS S3, or Data Lakes. โ€ข Develop custom expressions, calculated columns, and KPIs for trend, risk, and quality monitoring in regulated environments. โ€ข Support data validation, access control, and compliance with 21 CFR Part 11 and other GxP regulations where applicable. โ€ข Provide user training, documentation, and production support for Spotfire solutions. Required Skills & Qualifications โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s or Masterโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Life Sciences, or related field. โ€ข Strong proficiency in IronPython scripting, R/Python integration, and SQL queries. โ€ข Experience in data visualization best practices and building analytical dashboards for business and scientific use cases. โ€ข Familiarity with Life Sciences data models and standards (e.g., CDISC, SDTM, ADaM, IDMP, SPOR, MedDRA). โ€ข Understanding of clinical development, regulatory submissions, pharmacovigilance, or manufacturing quality analytics. โ€ข Experience integrating Spotfire with ETL tools, Data Lakes, or BI platforms (e.g., AWS Glue, Informatica, Databricks, Power BI) is a plus. โ€ข Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with global teams.
