Spotfire Data Analyst / Reporting Specialist

Position Overview We are seeking a Spotfire Data Analyst / Reporting Specialist with strong expertise in Oracle SQL and data visualization to design and deliver analytics solutions that support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will partner with cross-functional teams and leadership to develop accurate, automated, and insightful reports and models, ensuring data-driven business operations and performance tracking. Key Responsibilities • Analytics & Reporting Design: • Design and develop a variety of analytics and metric reports using TIBCO Spotfire integrated with Oracle SQL databases. • Data Modeling: • Develop and optimize data models to support scalable Spotfire dashboards and visualizations across multiple business areas. • Leadership Reporting: • Produce accurate, timely, and standardized reports for the Finance Leadership Team and Executive Leadership Team. • Process Automation: • Design, develop, and automate Cost-Out Models and Forecasting Models using Spotfire and advanced SQL queries in Oracle. • KPI Development: • Create, maintain, and enhance KPI and metrics dashboards to track key business performance indicators. • Ad-hoc Analysis: • Respond to ad-hoc data requests and reporting needs using SQL, Spotfire, and Excel. • Stakeholder Collaboration: • Schedule and conduct meetings with stakeholders for requirement gathering, progress reporting, and status updates on deliverables. • Visualization & Platform Strategy: • Collaborate with business teams to define visualization standards, data platform needs, and user experience requirements. • Budget Analysis: • Perform monthly budget-versus-actual analysis and present insights to support financial planning and control. Qualifications We Seek in YouMinimum Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or Engineering. • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in analysis and documentation. • Knowledge of Inventory Management Systems and related business processes. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure with flexibility in working hours. • Self-motivated, adaptable, and ready to take on new challenges. • Aerospace industry background is preferred. Preferred Qualifications / Skills • Prior experience in Finance operations or business analytics. • Industry experience in heavy manufacturing or industrial engineering environments. • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a cross-cultural environment. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
