SQL Data Analyst

SQL Data Analyst Remote Contract role Job Summary: This role is primarily technical (80%) with a functional component (20%), focusing on healthcare data reporting, technical specifications, and stakeholder collaboration. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Power BI, SQL, and healthcare data, particularly within Medicaid/Medicare environments. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to support analytics needs • Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis • Perform detailed data analysis and validation to ensure accuracy and integrity • Create and manage source-to-target mappings and technical specifications • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and finalize business and technical requirements • Support healthcare data reporting initiatives and analytics requests • Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field • Proven experience as a Data Analyst with strong technical skills • Hands-on experience with: • Power BI (report and dashboard development) • SQL (data querying and manipulation) • Experience working with healthcare data, preferably Medicaid or Medicare • Strong data analysis, data validation, and problem-solving skills Technical Skills: • Power BI • SQL • Healthcare Data (Medicaid/Medicare) Work Structure: • 80% Technical (Power BI development, SQL coding, data analysis) • 20% Functional (stakeholder engagement, requirements gathering Dexian is a leading provider of staffing, IT, and workforce solutions with over 12,000 employees and 70 locations worldwide.
