Role description
Responsibilities Kforce is seeking a Senior SQL Data Analyst on behalf of our client in Greenwood Village, CO. Summary: The client is looking for someone who genuinely enjoys turning raw data into clear insights and building dashboards people actually want to use. This role is ideal for a curious, detail-oriented analyst who loves digging into complex datasets, asking why, and translating findings into compelling stories for the business. You will balance structured reporting with ad-hoc analysis, all while partnering closely with stakeholders to help them make smarter, faster decisions. What a Day in the Life Looks Like; No two days are exactly the same, but you will regularly: β€’ Work on analysis and reporting tasks tied to real business deadlines β€’ Build best-in-class Tableau dashboards from scratch that empower teams to self-serve insights β€’ Pull and analyze data to support ad-hoc business questions β€’ Document your analysis and clearly share findings with both technical and non-technical stakeholders β€’ Explore data, form hypotheses, test them, and refine your understanding as patterns emerge What You Will Be Doing β€’ Partner with stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver intuitive, self-serve dashboards β€’ Write complex SQL queries across multiple tables to extract and transform data for reporting β€’ Connect data across multiple systems and sources to answer meaningful business questions β€’ Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that drive insights and recommendations β€’ Validate data and ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability in reporting β€’ Perform ad-hoc analysis and proactively suggest improvements to existing processes β€’ Clearly document reporting logic, assumptions, and outcomes for long-term reuse Requirements β€’ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field β€’ 6+ years of experience in data analysis and reporting across multiple applications and data warehouses β€’ Advanced SQL skills with experience writing complex queries for analysis and extraction β€’ Strong experience building self-serve dashboards in Tableau β€’ Solid data analysis skills using Excel β€’ A self-starter mindset with the ability to thrive in ambiguity and learn quickly β€’ Strong analytical thinking-comfortable forming hypotheses and validating them through data β€’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially when explaining complex data to non-technical audience Nice To Have β€’ Experience working with call, case, or order data β€’ Familiarity with systems such as Salesforce, Remedy, NICE, IVR, or similar platform Why This Role: You'll have the opportunity to: β€’ Own your work end-to-end from raw data to polished dashboards β€’ Influence decision-making through insights that matter β€’ Work in an environment that values curiosity, clarity, and thoughtful analysis The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
