SQL Database Engineer

Our client, a leader in innovative technology solutions, is seeking a SQL Database Engineer to join their dedicated team. As a SQL Database Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Data Management Department supporting the Database Development Team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative spirit, which will enable you to thrive within the organization. Job Title: SQL Database Engineer Location:Wayne, PA Pay Range: $40/hr - $44/hr on W2 What's the Job? • Modify existing databases and database management systems to improve performance and reliability. • Write and code logical and physical database descriptions, ensuring data integrity and security. • Collaborate with project teams to coordinate database development and define project scope and limitations. • Review project requests to estimate time and costs, ensuring efficient resource allocation. • Troubleshoot system issues and implement necessary changes to resolve problems promptly. What's Needed? • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a relevant field. • Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with database development software such as VisualBasic. • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to solve complex problems. • Basic understanding of the full software development lifecycle, from analysis to deployment. • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing project requirements.
