We are looking for a skilled SQL Developer with experience in Cognos BI reporting tools.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for writing complex SQL queries, creating stored procedures, and delivering insightful reports using IBM Cognos.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Design and build reports, dashboards, and visualizations using IBM Cognos.
• Collaborate with business teams to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure high data quality and report accuracy by performing detailed validation and testing.
• Maintain documentation for database and report logic.
Required Skills:
• Strong experience in SQL development (joins, subqueries, performance tuning).
• Proficiency in IBM Cognos (Report Studio, Query Studio, Framework Manager).
• Experience working with relational databases like SQL Server, Oracle, or DB2.
• Solid understanding of data structures, relational modeling, and reporting best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
