POSITION SUMMARY: This SQL Developer position will be primarily responsible for development, enhancement, troubleshooting, and maintenance of data-focused software solutions using T-SQL, SSIS, PowerBI and other BI and Data Visualization tools, in support of various ADE business processes, data analysis, and reporting requirements. The successful developer will be solution-oriented, adapt to changing environments, and able to work with minimal defined requirements. Preferred candidates will be investigative, detail-oriented problem solvers who understand the power of data and the criticality of its quality. Skills Required SQL Server development using T-SQL, SSIS Intermediate- to advanced-level relational database modeling and design Power BI, SSRS and other BI and Data Visualization tools Ability to recognize and apply data systems development patterns and best practices Ability to excel in a collaborative and distributed team environment Ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and business experts alike Ability to effectively communicate with various levels of employees ranging from entry level to senior leadership Ability to respectfully question ideas and share a point of view with others in support of the business requirements and needs Ability to work with a minimal amount of direction while being proactive in keeping management and coworkers informed of project related issues Ability to work under pressure while maintaining focus on deadlines and deliverables Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time and shift priorities quickly Proven strong problem-solving skills, troubleshooting and root cause analysis Demonstrated ability to use discretion and make sound decisions Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information Excellent written and verbal communication skills
