• Lead the end-to-end development of management dashboards, encompassing requirements gathering, wireframing, data integration, solution design, testing, deployment, and ongoing support in production environments.
• Integrate and harmonize data from multiple sources, including relational databases, APIs, Excel files, and enterprise systems, to address complex reporting and analytical needs.
• Design, build, and automate dashboards, key reports, forms, and end-user portals using leading visualization platforms such as PowerBI and Power Platform.
• Utilize foundational programming skills in Spark-SQL & T- SQL to streamline manually operated reporting to fully automated solutions. extraction, transformation, loading (ETL), and analytical modelling
• Leverage the Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI) to automate workflows, enhance reporting capabilities, and deliver interactive business solutions.
• Implement and manage robust security protocols within visualization platforms (e.g., PowerBI row-level and role-level security).
• Oversee the promotion of reporting solutions from development to production, ensuring quality, compliance, and scalability.
• Maintain and update automation and reporting resources to deliver sustained value, adapting to evolving business needs.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members and contribute to the development of reporting standards and guidelines.
Required Qualifications
• 5 years of complex SQL development experience (T-SQL, Spark SQL, My-SQL, PLSQL)
• o SparkSQL & T SQL Expert Level required
• Will be tested in real time in the interviewing process
• 3 years of Databricks Experience (Medallion & Data Architecture)
• o Familiar with Databricks platform operations (Ex: Warehouse, Unity Catalog, Automated Jobs, Data Quality/Lineage)
• 3 years of traditional SQL Server programming/development
• o Relational Databases & automation tooling (Task Manager, Agents, SSIS)
• o Stored procedures, Indexing, CTE functions, etc…
• 3 Years working within Power Platform Services
• o Power BI – Reporting Development with multiple languages (SQL & Dax)
Experience with all ingestion methods > import/Direct Query/Live/API
• Reporting Visual development with functional development (Ex: Drill in/through, RLS (row Level Security), etc.
• Reporting Automation within service (working with admins to establish gateways, scheduling refreshes, configuring workspace access/controls)
• Demonstrated independent judgement and execution - rearchitecting a manual process to fully automated via code/reporting tooling.
• Ability to independently synthesize an existing data process, extract requirements, synchronize with Data Engineering team for ingestion patterns/requirements, program core workload via SparkSQL, and develop the reporting UI.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for executive audiences.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
• Additional Language knowledge and experience is a plus (Ex: Python, Powershell)
