Role description
Role Responsibilities β€’ Support campaign list management and reporting initiatives for utility markets and brands β€’ Partner closely with the Marketing team to gather, clarify, and challenge campaign requirements to ensure accurate targeting and compliance. β€’ Use SQL Server to data mine customer populations, apply segmentation logic, and build high-quality campaign lists. β€’ Translate marketing objectives into well-structured datasets and final distribution lists for Marketing and Email teams. β€’ Manage and apply state-specific rules and regulatory requirements across approximately 14 states within the energy utility industry. β€’ Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance throughout the campaign list creation process. β€’ Act as a consultative analystβ€”asking thoughtful questions, identifying gaps or risks, and proposing data-driven solutions rather than simply executing requests. Qualifications β€’ 3–4+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role, with hands-on SQL Server expertise. β€’ Strong SQL data mining and list-building experience, preferably supporting marketing or campaign initiatives. β€’ Proven ability to work independently in a senior-level team environment with minimal hand-holding. β€’ Analytical, inquisitive mindsetβ€”someone who naturally questions requirements and thinks critically about data and outcomes. β€’ Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally with Marketing and non-technical stakeholders. β€’ Experience working in highly regulated environments (energy, utilities, finance, healthcare, etc.) is a strong plus. β€’ Confident communicator who can explain data logic and decisions clearly to business partners
