Job Title: Sr. Consultant - Microsoft Power BI
Location: SFO, CA or Dallas, TX (Onsite from day one, REMOTE NOT ALLOWED)
Duration: Long term
Rate: $60/HR on W2
Mandatory Skills: Microsoft Power BI, Azure SQL, ADF, ADB
Job Description: The Technical Specialist in Microsoft PowerBI and SQL will be responsible for leveraging technical expertise in PowerBI and SQL to develop, design, and implement data visualization solutions and reports. The primary objective is to enhance data analysis processes and provide valuable insights to support business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain powerbi reports and dashboards to visualize data effectively.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Optimize sql queries and database performance to ensure efficient data retrieval.
• Design and implement etl processes to extract, transform, and load data into the powerbi environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to powerbi and sql.
• Stay updated on latest trends and best practices in powerbi and sql to enhance data analytics capabilities.
Skill Requirements:
• Proficiency in microsoft powerbi to design and develop interactive visualizations.
• Strong command of sql for querying and managing relational databases.
• Knowledge of data modeling and data warehousing concepts.
• Ability to interpret and analyze complex data sets.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross functional teams.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks effectively.
