Job Title: Sr. Data Analyst - Liquidity Products & Transformation Location: New York City, NY OR Charlotte, NC Pay Range: $65hr W2 Summary Our client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking a Sr. Data Analyst - Liquidity Products & Transformation to join their team. As a Sr. Data Analyst - Liquidity Products & Transformation, you will be part of the Liquidity Products & Transformation department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate analytical thinking, strong communication skills, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization. What's the Job? โ€ข Work with large datasets; perform data cleanup, analysis, and comparison of source versus reporting system data. โ€ข Support strategic sourcing initiatives for liquidity systems, including daily Fed reporting and quarterly public disclosures. โ€ข Identify and resolve data quality issues to ensure accuracy and reliability of reports. โ€ข Collaborate closely with developers and business stakeholders across liquidity, balance sheet, and treasury functions. โ€ข Take ownership of specific domains such as mortgage or auto loans, ensuring data integrity and process improvements. What's Needed? โ€ข Strong SQL skills and querying ability, including experience with stored procedures. โ€ข Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with both technical and non-technical teams. โ€ข Understanding of data feed systems and the underlying infrastructure ("plumbing"). โ€ข Ownership mindset with responsibility for specific financial domains like mortgage or auto loans. โ€ข Financial services experience in balance sheet, treasury, or liquidity areas is essential.
