Sr. Data Analyst, Marketing
The Sage Group is seeking a Sr. Data Analyst, Marketing, for our client, an Australian multinational enterprise software company that develops products for software developers, project managers, and content management. It is best known for its issue tracking application and its team collaboration and wiki product.
The Product Marketing (PMM) and Global Demand Campaigns (GDC) teams collaborate in shaping go-to-market narratives, driving awareness of product plans & differentiators, designing end-to-end campaign & enablement strategy, and partnering cross-functionally with a range of stakeholder teams.
This role aims to support PMM and GDC to achieve their ambitious mandate. Using your business instincts, technical skills, and analytical mindset, you will provide data, analytics and actionable insights.
We are looking for a Data Analyst to support our PMM and GDC teams with insights and business reporting. We're looking for someone with strong business acumen, creativity, excellent Tableau & SQL skills, working knowledge of basic statistical concepts and experience working with teams; someone who is passionate about applying these skills to build a measurement culture connected to growth.
Responsibilities:
• Identify and measure the success of Product Marketing (PMM) and Global Demand and Campaigns (GDC) efforts through forecasting and monitoring of key product and marketing metrics to understand trends.
• Collaborate on a variety of product and business problems with a diverse set of cross-functional partners and become a trusted strategic partner through the structure and clarity of your work.
• Apply technical expertise with quantitative analysis and the presentation of data to develop strategies for our business and help solve the business's biggest challenges.
• Focus on developing hypotheses through analytical approaches, different methodologies, frameworks, and technical approaches to test them.
• Define, understand, and test opportunities to improve the products and influence roadmaps through insights and recommendations.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to inform, influence, and execute strategy decisions
Requirements:

• Top 3 tech skills: SQL, Tableau, Statistical Analysis
• Top 3 soft skills: Communication, Project Management, Self Starter
Duration: 6 months, likely to extend
