Role description
We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst for an On-site, 12 month +, 1099 contract
β’ Must be on-site 5 days a week in Irving, TX (must live within a reasonable commuting distance to Irving).
β’ Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder. No 3rd Party C2Cs
Overview
You will be responsible for analyzing data that is fed into the machine learning models and analyzing data from production to gather critical and intuitive insights to improve the models and algorithms. You will also be visualizing these insights and help communicate results to the business effectively. Data Analysts use Databricks as their primary tool to derive valuable insights and provide them back to the business.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Interpreting data, analyzing results using statistical techniques.
β’ Developing and implementing data analyses, data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
β’ Acquiring data from primary or secondary data sources and maintaining databases.
β’ Looking for someone to measure results of AI Models.
β’ Research, prototype, and build analysis and visualizations for our Machine Learning pipeline.
β’ Stay up to date with emerging technology and learn new technologies/libraries/frameworks
β’ Learn and partner with peers across multiple disciplines, such as computer vision, machine learning, and systems design
β’ Deliver on time with a high bar on quality of research, innovation and engineering
Basic Qualifications:
β’ Strong knowledge of statistical techniques and advanced mathematics.
β’ 3+ years of data analyst/engineering/science within the Databricks ecosystem (Azure preferred).
β’ 5+ years of experience demonstrating the use of statistical techniques to analyze, segment and visualize data β specifically around experimental design, KPI calculation, and A/B testing.
β’ 4+ years of experience in manipulating big data using Python, PySpark, or SQL.
β’ Expert Experience with data visualization tools in Python, PowerBI, etc.
β’ Bachelorβs Degree or higher in Computer Science/Engineering/Math, or relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
β’ Masterβs Degree or higher in Computer Science/Engineering/Math, or relevant experience
β’ Experience working with Machine Learning models β evaluation, observability, and performance monitoring.
β’ Experience working closely with a business team to determine primary KPIs on an ambiguous problem.
