Sr Data Analytics Engineer

Location: Charlotte, NC Salary: $56.00 USD Hourly - $60.00 USD Hourly Description: Senior Data Analytics Engineer (Contract) Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid - 3 days onsite per week) Worksite: 11625 N Community House Rd, Charlotte, NC Duration: 6-month contract (no extension) About The Role We are seeking a Senior Data Analytics Engineer to join the Finance Data domain. This role will work closely with a small, specialized team focused on data processing, automation, and analytics tooling. The ideal candidate is a strong, independent contributor who can own analytics projects end-to-end-from requirements gathering through production deployment. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries to manipulate and analyze large data sets • Build and maintain Power BI semantic models, reports, and dashboards • Create basic to intermediate data visualizations that support business and finance use cases • Perform data modeling within Power BI to support scalable reporting • Develop automated, end-to-end analytics solutions including requirements gathering, development, UAT validation, and production deployment • Work independently on assigned initiatives while collaborating with finance and technical stakeholders • Support and enhance Oracle-based data sources used for analytics and reporting Required Qualifications • 7+ years of advanced SQL experience, including performance tuning and data transformation • 3+ years of Microsoft Power Platform experience, specifically: • Power BI (data connectivity, semantic models, baseline visualizations) • Strong background in data engineering, analytics, and visualization • Proven ability to manage projects end-to-end independently • Experience using project management tools in an enterprise environment Nice-to-Have Qualifications • Experience with PowerApps (Forms) • Experience with Alteryx • Exposure to cloud or modern data engineering platforms • Experience building and managing ETL pipelines • Ability to support and maintain 10+ dashboards simultaneously Education • No specific education or certification requirements Industry Experience • Prior experience in financial services is an asset but not required Work Environment • Hybrid role: onsite 3 days per week • Approved work locations include Charlotte, NC and CIC locations • Candidates must be willing to relocate at their own expense if not local Additional Information • Shortlist Size: Up to 4 candidates • Contract ID: Beeline Request ID 219375-1 By providing your phone number, you consent to: (1) receive automated text messages and calls from the Judge Group, Inc. and its affiliates (collectively "Judge") to such phone number regarding job opportunities, your job application, and for other related purposes.
