Role description
Overview We are seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable cloud-based data solutions using Snowflake and Microsoft Azure. This role focuses on developing efficient data pipelines, robust data models, and secure, high-performing analytics capabilities. Key Responsibilities • Design and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory and related Azure services • Develop and manage Snowflake data structures including databases, schemas, tables, and stored procedures • Integrate data from multiple sources into Azure Data Lake and Snowflake • Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across pipelines • Optimize data processing and storage for cost and efficiency • Implement security and governance best practices across Azure and Snowflake • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data solutions • Support CI/CD processes for deployment and version control m Required Qualifications • Strong experience with Snowflake, including advanced SQL and performance tuning • Hands-on experience building data pipelines in Azure environments • Proficiency in SQL and a programming language such as Python or PowerShell • Solid understanding of data warehousing and data modeling concepts • Experience with Azure Data Lake and data integration • Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and pipeline observability tools
