Sr Data Engineer- Only W2/Locals to Maine

Schedule: Mon- Fri- 8am- 5pm ONLY W2/ Local for Maine only. Experience Level- Senior-15+ years TOP (3) REQUIRED SKILLSETS: • Experience building data services and streaming data pipelines in AWS using infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and distributed data processing frameworks (i.e. Spark) • Strong proficiency in Python and SQL with exposure to functional and object-oriented programming languages • Strong communication and problem-solving skills and the ability to research and operate independently NICE TO HAVE SKILLSETS: • Experience using, building, and maintaining REST APIs • Experience with relational and non-relational databases (document stores, key-value stores) • Experience with data warehousing (Snowflake) • Experience working with JSON and XML • Knowledge of software engineering best practices including DevOps, version control, and CI/CD We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Data Engineer. This role is pivotal in developing and maintaining data pipelines and applications that deliver diagnostic results to our customers in near real-time. Reporting and Collaboration This position reports directly to the development manager while working on a cross-functional agile development team, and involves collaboration with other engineering, product, quality, and customer-facing software teams and roles. Minimum Qualifications · 15+ years of data engineering experience · Experience building and maintaining public cloud-based data pipelines and applications · Proficiency in Python and SQL · Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to research and operate independently · Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability effectively collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
