TOP (3) REQUIRED SKILLSETS:
β’ Experience building data services and streaming data pipelines in AWS using infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and distributed data processing frameworks (i.e. Spark)
β’ Strong proficiency in Python and SQL with exposure to functional and object-oriented programming languages
β’ Strong communication and problem-solving skills and the ability to research and operate independently
NICE TO HAVE SKILLSETS:
β’ Experience using, building, and maintaining REST APIs
β’ Experience with relational and non-relational databases (document stores, key-value stores)
β’ Experience with data warehousing (Snowflake)
β’ Experience working with JSON and XML
β’ Knowledge of software engineering best practices including DevOps, version control, and CI/CD

Reporting and Collaboration
This position reports directly to the development manager while working on a cross-functional agile development team, and involves collaboration with other engineering, product, quality, and customer-facing software teams and roles.
Minimum Qualifications
Β· 15+ years of data engineering experience
Β· Experience building and maintaining public cloud-based data pipelines and applications
Β· Proficiency in Python and SQL
Β· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to research and operate independently
Β· Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability effectively collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders
Β· Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
