Sr. Data Engineer

Sr Data Engineer Locations: Westlake, TX OR Durham, NC (must be local) Hybrid - 50% onsite Duration: 12 months As a As a Senior Data Engineer you will work with highly effective squad, developing quality and scalable data solutions. The Expertise and Skills You Bring • 7+ years of experience in developing quality data solutions • Software development experience in the Financial Industry • Expertise in Oracle PL/SQL development, SQL Scripting, and database performance tuning • Intermediate experience in Java development is preferred • Solid understanding of ETL tools like Informatica and Data Warehousing like Snowflake. • You enjoy learning new technologies, analyzing data, identifying gaps, issues, patterns, and building solutions • You can independently analyze technical challenges, identify, assess impact, and identify innovative solutions • Strong data modeling skills using Quantitative and Multi-Dimensional Analysis • Demonstrate understanding of data design concepts - Transactional, Data Mart, Data Warehouse etc. • Beginner proficiency of in Python, REST API and AWS is a plus • You are passionate about delivering high quality software using DevOps, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (Maven, Jenkins, Git, Docker) practices! • Experience developing software using Agile methodologies (Kanban and SCRUM) • Strong analytical and problem solving skills • Excellent written and oral communication skills
