Title: Sr. Data Engineer Location: Remote (Only Local to Irvine, CA or Plano, TX) Term: 12-Month Contract Job Description We re seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines and architectures using Databricks, Python, and Azure. You ll work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance data solutions supporting business analytics and strategic Required Skills & Experience • 7+ years of progressive data engineering experience • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Azure (ADF, Event Hub, Data Lake) • 3+ years working with Azure Databricks (Python or Scala) • 4+ years of Python programming experience • Strong expertise in SQL Server, T-SQL, and stored procedures • Experience developing batch ETL pipelines (real-time is a plus) • Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and governance • Experience with CI/CD, data refactoring, and design patterns • Proven ability to handle large, complex datasets and deliver insights
