Sr. Data Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in the cybersecurity and data management industry, is seeking a Sr. Data Engineer to join their team. As a Sr. Data Engineer, you will be part of the Data Engineering Department supporting the Cyber Security Data Solutions team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Sr. Data Engineer Location: 100% ONSITE - 9800 Schwab Way, Lone Tree, CO 80124 What's the Job? • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Google Cloud Platform tools such as BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Composer. • Develop and optimize SQL queries to support data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business customers and Subject Matter Experts, to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions. • Implement best practices for data quality, data governance, and data security. • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues, ensuring high availability and performance. What's Needed? • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field. • 5+ years of hands-on experience with data management, consolidating data from multiple sources, and transforming it for visualization and analysis. • Strong expertise in Google BigQuery, Google Cloud Storage, Cloud Composer, and related GCP services. • Proficiency in Python and SQL for data processing and automation. • Experience with ETL processes and data pipeline design.
