Our client, a leading organization in the technology and data solutions industry, is seeking a Sr Data Ops Engineer to join their team. As a Sr Data Ops Engineer, you will be part of the Data Engineering Department supporting the Cyber Security Data Ecosystem team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, collaborative mindset, and innovative thinking, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?
โข Implement and operationalize modern AI-enabled data capabilities on Google Cloud to ingest, transform, and distribute data for various big data applications
โข Leverage AI/Agentic frameworks to automate data management, governance, and data consumption capabilities such as data pipelines, data quality, metadata, and compliance
โข Collaborate with principal engineers, product managers, and data engineers to roadmap, plan, and deliver key data capabilities based on organizational priorities
โข Support migration from on-premises systems to cloud platforms, ensuring seamless transition and integration
โข Develop and support data flows using Kafka, Flink, Spark streaming, and other modern data processing tools
What's Needed?
โข 5+ years of experience in data engineering, including hands-on work with cloud data solutions such as Spark, Kafka, Airflow, Google Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Data Proc, and Cloud Composer
โข Demonstrable skills using AI tools like LangChain, LangGraph/ADK, agentic frameworks, RAG, GraphRAG, and MCP for building agent-based data capabilities
โข Deep understanding of cloud-based data lakes, warehouses, and automated data pipelines
โข Experience with developing data flows and automations in a large data environment
โข Relevant cloud certifications such as GCP Professional Data Engineer, Azure Data Engineer, or AWS Specialty Data Analytics are a plus
