Job Title: Senior Data Scientist
Employment Type: Contract to Hire
Minimum Education Requirement: Bachelor's Degree
Position Background: The Senior Data Scientist will tackle complex problems related to recommendations, ranking, user condition predictions, and search. Our team is driven by KPIs and leverages Machine Learning (ML) to deliver personalized experiences. You will collaborate with talented data scientists and engineers to develop end-to-end solutions that meet product needs. We prioritize engineering excellence and strive to release robust solutions to production, utilizing state-of-the-art machine learning for low latency solutions.
Team Description: You will join the Personalization Data Science and Machine Learning team, which includes two Principal Data Scientists, two Principal Machine Learning Engineers, one Senior Data Scientist, and several Tech interns.
Responsibilities:
• Apply advanced statistical and predictive modeling techniques to optimize healthcare and digital experiences.
• Innovate by proposing new ways to approach problems using data mining, statistical analysis, and machine learning.
• Support business needs with analytics, predictive modeling, and business intelligence.
• Collaborate with internal clients to transform their needs into data science use cases.
• Track and monitor the performance of statistical models, recommending improvements to methods and algorithms.
Required Qualifications:
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related quantitative fields.
• Ability to translate cutting-edge research into production-level code.
• Experience in developing analytics with machine learning, deep learning, NLP, and related modeling techniques.
• Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and/or PySpark.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Ph.D. in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related quantitative fields.
• Experience in developing and deploying models for recommender systems, NLP, and time series forecasting.
• Experience in developing algorithms for search engines, cold-start recommendation, and semi-supervised learning.
