Job Summary:
As a IBM Apptio developer you will be responsible for building and scaling AI-powered software solutions for Technology Business Management (TBM) and FinOps. Developers focus on designing enterprise-level cloud integrations, APIs, and data-driven cost allocation frameworks that help organizations optimize technology spend and track value
.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Programming Languages: Proficiency in Python or Shell scripting, as well as backend object-oriented languages like Java or C++.
Cloud Architecture: Deep understanding of cloud-native infrastructure, APIs, and distributed data architectures.
DevOps & Testing: Experience with Git, Linux-based development environments, test-driven development (TDD), and system monitoring tools like Datadog or Prometheus.
Data Management: Solid knowledge of enterprise system integrations and data structures
Product Development: Build and scale cloud-native microservices, APIs, and asynchronous architectures that power Apptio Cloudability and financial intelligence modules.
System Integrations: Develop integrations between Apptio and major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) alongside enterprise management platforms. Data Pipelines: Write scripts and ETL pipelines for ingesting and processing large-scale financial and usage data.
Platform Operations: Collaborate within a DevOps environment using automated testing, containerization (Kubernetes), and continuous deployment.
