Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Informatica Developer with a strong background in integrating data with Snowflake. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of reputable experience in ETL development using Informatica PowerCenter, Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC, formerly IICS), or equivalent platforms, and will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining efficient data extraction and loading solutions involving Snowflake.
The successful candidate must demonstrate strong communication skills, a deep understanding of data warehousing principles, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Design, develop, and optimize ETL/ELT processes using Informatica to extract data from diverse source systems and load it into Snowflake.
β’ Collaborate with data architects and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
β’ Implement data transformations, quality checks, and validation logic to ensure high data accuracy and consistency.
β’ Monitor, troubleshoot, and tune ETL jobs for performance, scalability, and reliability.
β’ Document technical specifications, data mappings, and process flows in alignment with data governance standards.
β’ Work closely with QA, DevOps, and data engineering teams to support deployment, testing, and production support.
β’ Maintain best practices for secure, scalable, and reusable data integration components.
Required Qualifications
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
β’ Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience developing ETL solutions using Informatica (IDMC).
β’ Proven experience with data integration into Snowflake, including performance tuning and cost optimization.
β’ Strong expertise in writing SQL and working with structured and semi-structured data (JSON, XML, etc.).
β’ Familiarity with cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and related services for data storage and processing.
β’ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
β’ Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and participation in code reviews, sprint planning, and backlog grooming.
