β’ Handsβon experience in kdb+ development in a production environment.
β’ Strong expertise in q language, including:
β’ Table design (splayed, partitioned, segmented)
β’ Inβmemory vs onβdisk tradeβoffs
β’ Efficient joins, aggregations, and windowed analytics
β’ Deep understanding of kdb+ tick architecture, including tickerplant, RDB, HDB, and associated patterns.
β’ Proven experience working with large datasets and optimising queries for performance and scalability.
β’ Strong background in Unix/Linux environments, including shell scripting for automation, monitoring, and operational tooling.
β’ Solid understanding of software delivery processes and methodologies (Agile, CI/CD, version control, release management).
