Job Description
The Sr. Marketing Advanced Analytics role will design, build, and maintain scalable, auditable data pipelines that support reliable marketing reporting, advanced analytics, and business decision-making. This role will work with Databricks, Snowflake, SQL, and Tableau to ensure data is accurate, well-structured, validated, and easy for business and technical teams to consume.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Databricks, Spark, Scala, Python, SQL, and related data engineering tools.
• Work with Snowflake to load, transform, manage, and optimize large datasets.
• Own data validation processes, including source-to-target reconciliation, data profiling, anomaly detection, and audit checks.
• Perform data mining and analysis to identify trends, inconsistencies, patterns, and opportunities for marketing and business action.
• Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards and visualizations to support reporting, transparency, and decision-making.
• Implement automated data quality checks, alerts, and monitoring for pipeline failures, anomalies, and audit flags.
• Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver reliable data products.
• Optimize existing pipelines for performance, scalability, efficiency, and operational simplicity.
• Document data lineage, pipeline logic, workflows, requirements, and metadata in a clear and consistent manner.
Required Skills
• Hands-on experience designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines using Databricks, Spark, Scala, Python, SQL, and Snowflake.
• Strong SQL development skills for data extraction, transformation, validation, and performance tuning.
• Experience performing source-to-target reconciliation, data auditing, data profiling, and anomaly detection across large datasets.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot Spark performance issues and optimize large-scale data processing jobs.
• Experience with Snowflake data loading, transformation, update patterns, and data management.
• Tableau dashboard development experience, including data visualization best practices, parameters, and performance optimization.
• Solid understanding of data validation lifecycles, data quality frameworks, and automated quality checks.
• Ability to document pipelines, workflows, business requirements, data lineage, and technical logic clearly.
Preferred Skills
• Familiarity with advanced data profiling, anomaly detection techniques, and predictive modeling for identifying inconsistencies.
• Experience translating business questions and analytical requirements into reliable data products.
• Knowledge of metadata management, data lineage documentation, and governance best practices.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver high-quality work with minimal oversight.
