Role description
Title: Sr. Paid Media Marketing Data Analyst Company: Strava Duration: 6 month contract with extensions Location: Remote - must be open to both PST/EST hours Hours: 30 - 40 hours (Project based) Interviews: 2 Rounds (Technical Hands-On SQL and Conversational) Required Skills & Experience • 5+ years of experience in marketing analytics, data analysis, or related roles • Deep experience with social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, marketing data) • Strong skills in ETL data pipelines – moving data between systems • Advanced proficiency in Tableau for dashboard creation and reporting • Highly skilled in SQL and quantitative programming languages (Python preferred) • Experience with brand measurement methodologies (MMM, lift studies, attribution modeling) • Proven ability to work autonomously and deliver results with minimal training • Comfortable collaborating across EST/PST teams and interacting with stakeholders in NY and SF Nice to Have Skills & Experience • Experience with GitHub for version control and data pipeline management • Prior work with social listening tools (Dashsocial, TikTok, Instagram) • Strategic mindset and ability to consolidate data into single source of truth dashboards • Experience presenting insights and recommendations to marketing leadership ABOUT THIS ROLE: Insight Global is seeking a Sr. Marketing Analyst to join the Marketing Analytics team. This role is focused on measuring paid and organic marketing performance and impact to Brand Awareness, MAU, Registration, and Subscription growth. You will collaborate with Brand Marketing, Growth Marketing, Community Partnership, Design, and leadership to accelerate learning, make data-informed decisions, and define data-inspired solutions to fuel the platform growth. This is a highly visible, strategic role for someone enthusiastic about delivering actionable data insights and building dashboards that drive business outcomes. DAY-TO-DAY: • Support brand media measurement planning and strategy; ensure investments align with marketing OKRs • Collaborate with Brand Marketing, Data Science, and external agencies on attribution modeling and incrementality testing • Gather requirements from cross-functional partners and consolidate data into actionable dashboards • Build and manage data pipelines from multiple sources, ensuring data is accessible, fresh, and consistent • Deliver persuasive, data-driven media performance reviews and strategic recommendations to stakeholders • Own critical analytical reporting on metrics like brand awareness, familiarity, and consideration • Present findings in weekly/monthly business reviews and OKR meetings • Partner with NY counterparts and marketing stakeholders to drive performance analytics
