Role description
This is a contract and 100% remote.
Responsibilities:
• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business, functional, and non‑functional requirements
• Analyze current‑state marketing and customer data workflows and recommend optimized future‑state processes
• Translate business objectives into user stories, process flows, solution requirements, and acceptance criteria
• Collaborate with product, engineering, vendors, and QA teams to support delivery of martech enhancements
• Support platforms and integrations across CRM, CDP, campaign management, personalization, tagging, and analytics tools
• Lead requirements workshops, stakeholder interviews, backlog refinement, and solution reviews
• Assess data dependencies, system impacts, and change implications across marketing and customer experience platforms
• Support testing strategy, user acceptance testing, and production readiness
• Monitor platform adoption and business outcomes; identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency
• Develop and maintain clear documentation, including requirements, process flows, and training materials
• Operate effectively in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment with multiple priorities
Qualifications:
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both business and technical audiences
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst supporting martech, digital marketing, CRM, loyalty, or customer data initiatives
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with experience identifying dependencies and business impacts
• Hands‑on experience translating business needs into actionable user stories and functional specifications
• Experience working with Agile delivery teams, sprint ceremonies, backlog management, and UAT
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams independently and influence cross‑functional partners
• Experience with platforms such as Braze, Amperity, Adobe Experience Cloud, Tealium, or similar tools
• Understanding of customer data flows, segmentation, campaign execution, and digital measurement
• Familiarity with SQL, dashboards, reporting, or data visualization tools
• Knowledge of API integrations, tagging frameworks, privacy/consent, and data governance
• Experience in hospitality, travel, loyalty, e‑commerce, or customer experience environments
Pay: 60-65/hr
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Systems, Analytics, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
