Job Type: Long-term contract (12-18 months) with the ability to convert to full-time employment
Worksite Expectations: Hybrid onsite 2-days per week in Coppell, TX
Start Date: February 2026
W2 Hourly Pay Rate: $75.00 - $100.00 + / hour (W2)
Salary Conversion: $140,000 - $180,000 + full benefits
About the Opportunity:
Vaco by Highspring is seeking experienced Master Data Management (MDM) Engineers to lead the hands-on implementation of a modern Profisee-based MDM platform within a cloud ecosystem spanning Azure, AWS, Snowflake, and Kafka. In this role, you will be the primary MDM Implementer, partnering with a Solution Architect and a shared-services team to design and deliver robust MDM solutions, collaborate directly with business users, and ensure data quality and governance in a highly regulated environment. This position is hybrid onsite 2 days per week in Coppell, TX; candidates must pass a criminal background check and drug screen and be legally authorized to work in the United States, as our client is unable to sponsor at this time.
Job Description
This role is responsible for architecting, building, and supporting the technical foundation of the Master Data Management (MDM) platform. The engineer will develop and maintain data pipelines, system integrations, and feedback mechanisms across AWS, Snowflake, Kafka, and Profisee, ensuring scalable and reliable data flow throughout the ecosystem.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Design and implement data ingestion workflows, including batch, API-based, and streaming pipelines.
• Configure and persist matching and survivorship logic to support auditability and governance requirements.
• Establish and maintain seamless integrations between Profisee, AWS services, and Snowflake.
• Develop and support outbound services that publish golden records to downstream systems.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate Profisee deployments and enhancements.
• Proactively monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize the end-to-end integration architecture.
• Lead integration initiatives that include developing and enhancing data pipelines leveraging Kafka, Flink, AWS Glue, Iceberg, and Snowflake, and optimize throughput, reliability, and scalability of streaming and batch integrations.
• Ensure governance and compliance across master data management platforms ensuring all pipelines and deployments adhere to established technical, security, and compliance standards.
• Apply advanced development practices using AWS services, Kafka, CI/CD tooling, and the Profisee SDK.
• Lead Initiatives to develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that include stability and reliability of data pipelines, latency across integrations and data flows, CI/CD pipeline execution success and deployment quality.
Must Have Requirements:
• 7-10 years of prior experience and/or expertise in master data management (MDM).
• 5+ of years of expertise in leading Profisee MDM initiatives across large enterprise level environments (working with Profisee SDK - Software Development Kit).
• 5+ years of experience and/or expertise in AWS Cloud Computing Services, working with AWS Glue.
• Hands-on experience working with streaming services such as Kafka and Flink.
• Hands-on experience working with Enterprise Data Warehouse environments, working with Snowflake and Iceberg.
• Proficiency in Python for automation.
• Prior experience working within the banking or financial services industry, working in heavily regulated environments.
