Job Title: Senior Oracle SQL Analyst Work Location: Atlanta, GA Work Mode: Hybrid Duration: 10+ Months Interview process: Onsite Job Summary Under limited supervision, the Senior Oracle SQL Data Analyst develops, maintains, and supports Oracle SQL and PL/SQL solutions for operational reporting, research, executive decision-making, legislative reporting, and strategic initiatives. The role focuses on writing SQL from scratch against normalized Oracle transactional databases, analyzing business requirements, identifying tables and relationships, extracting and validating operational data, automating SQL processes, troubleshooting data issues, and supporting reporting and Tableau initiatives. Key Responsibilities • Develop, maintain, and optimize complex Oracle SQL and PL/SQL programs. • Write simple and complex SQL queries from scratch against normalized Oracle transactional databases. • Analyze business requirements and determine the appropriate tables, relationships, joins, and business rules needed to answer complex business questions. • Extract, validate, transform, and analyze operational data for reporting, research, grants, and executive requests. • Develop and maintain automated SQL processes, scheduled database jobs, and recurring data refreshes. • Troubleshoot SQL scripts, automated jobs, and data quality issues. • Create efficient, reusable, and well-documented SQL code. • Support recurring operational reports, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), legislative reporting, and research initiatives. • Collaborate with business users to understand reporting needs and communicate analytical findings. • Support Tableau dashboards and other data visualization initiatives as needed.
