Role description
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Onsite/ Hybrid/ Remote: Hybrid (2 days a week)
Duration: 10 months
Rate Range: Upto $80 - 95/hr on W2 (no benefits) depends on experience
Work Authorization: GC, USC, All valid EADs except H1B, OPT, CPT
Must Have:
• Workflow orchestration and enterprise automation platforms

Responsibilities:
• Design, build, and deploy enterprise workflow automation solutions using modern orchestration platforms.
• Develop API-based integrations across SaaS applications including collaboration, HR, finance, project management, and AI platforms.
• Replace manual and ticket-driven processes with scalable event-driven workflows.
• Work directly with business stakeholders to analyze processes and implement automation solutions.
• Build custom automation logic using Python, JavaScript, or Node.js.
• Develop browser-based automations using RPA tools when APIs are unavailable.
• Rapidly prototype, test, and deploy automation solutions in an agile environment.
• Establish governance, version control, and release management practices for automation workflows.
• Create reusable automation templates and integration frameworks.
• Train business users on automation best practices and self-service workflow development.
• Partner with security, IT, and enterprise architecture teams to ensure scalable and compliant solutions.
• Support multiple automation initiatives while improving operational efficiency across the organization.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, systems integration, or workflow automation.
• Strong hands-on experience building API integrations across enterprise SaaS platforms.
• Proficiency with Python, JavaScript, or Node.js.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, OAuth, API Keys, and integration patterns.
• Experience with workflow orchestration or automation platforms.
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
• Experience delivering automation projects in fast-paced, iterative environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders.
Nice to Have:
• Experience implementing automation governance and release management frameworks.
• Experience with HR, Finance, Procurement, or similar enterprise platforms.
• Exposure to AI-powered workflows and AI service integrations.
• Experience creating automation standards, reusable frameworks, and enablement programs.
• Background in operational transformation or process improvement initiatives.
• Experience scaling low-code or no-code automation platforms across enterprise environments.
