Job Description: We are looking for a Power BI Lead to take ownership of enterprise-level data visualization initiatives. This role requires strong architectural thinking, performance optimization expertise, governance ownership, and the ability to align analytics solutions with business stakeholders. The expectation goes beyond dashboard development to driving scalable, high-performance Power BI solutions across the organization. Key Responsibilities: • Own end-to-end delivery of enterprise Power BI solutions • Design and manage large-scale semantic data models, including fact/dimension structures, grain definition, and multi-source integration • Drive performance optimization for datasets and dashboards through model design, DAX tuning, refresh strategies, and upstream data handling • Develop and maintain advanced DAX measures, including reusable logic, time intelligence, and fiscal calendar calculations • Establish governance standards and manage Dev/Test/Prod deployment processes • Ensure stability, reliability, and scalability of Power BI solutions for business users • Collaborate with SQL and data engineering teams to optimize queries and reduce reporting-layer load • Lead integration efforts involving APIs, EDMS, GIS, and cross-platform data sources • Own technical documentation such as data dictionaries, architecture diagrams, workflow diagrams, and operational guides • Provide technical leadership by mentoring developers, reviewing models and DAX, and setting best practices • Act as a key liaison with stakeholders, managing expectations and ensuring business alignment Required Skills & Experience: • Strong experience in enterprise-scale Power BI data modeling and architecture • Proven expertise in Power BI performance optimization and troubleshooting • Advanced DAX development experience • Solid understanding of Power BI governance and deployment practices • Strong SQL skills and experience collaborating with data engineering teams • Experience integrating Power BI with diverse and complex data sources • Demonstrated ownership of architectural decisions and documentation Leadership Expectations: • Ownership beyond development tasks, including architectural and performance decisions • Experience guiding team members, reviewing work, and setting standards • Ability to clearly articulate technical decisions and business impact
