ECI Groupβs Professional Technical Services Network is seeking a Senior Python Developer for a short-term contract with a world-renowned client dedicated to pioneering cleaner energy solutions and investing in top talent.
This is a short term contract assignment starting November 24, 2025 and ending April 26, 2026.
What Youβll Do
β’ Lead Development: Architect and execute robust Python-based applications and services, driving technical excellence across distributed, asynchronous systems
β’ Mentor & Inspire: Guide junior developers, foster collaboration, and elevate team performance through hands-on mentorship and technical leadership
β’ Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate directly with business and technical stakeholders to define requirements and deliver solutions aligned with strategic goals
β’ Architect for Scale: Optimize performance and reliability, focusing on scalable, cloud-native solutions using Kubernetes (via Docker), Kafka, Azure, and GitHub
β’ Innovate: Contribute to architectural decisions and continuous improvement of system design, ensuring solutions avoid data conflicts in distributed environments
What You Bring
β’ Expertise: Mastery of Python development (far beyond scripting), with deep experience in multiprocessing, cloud-native development, and distributed asynchronous systems
β’ Technical Leadership: Proven ability to design and implement solutions that prevent data conflicts across multiple machines in immutable environments
β’ Modern Tech Stack: Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka, Azure, and GitHub
β’ Problem-Solving: Exceptional autonomy, adaptability, and a relentless focus on delivering business value
β’ Communication: Strong stakeholder engagement and the ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences
β’ Mentorship: Demonstrated success in mentoring and developing junior team members
Preferred Qualifications
β’ Experience in the energy sector is a plus
β’ Financial background is beneficial but not required
