(Please NO Agencies – only able to work with direct applicants) Sr. Snowflake Architect / Hands-On Data Engineer Snowflake (Azure) Build Phase | Contract → Likely Extension Key Points: • Start: ASAP (April 20th) • Duration: Through mid-June (MVP build), with strong likelihood of extension beyond • Project Phase: Active build phase (NOT greenfield architecture) • Location: 100% Remote • Pay Rate: Above market — flexible for the right person We’re partnered with a top-tier consulting firm supporting a Healthcare client on a live Snowflake data platform build. This is a an active project — not a role where you’ll be defining high-level architecture from scratch.You are stepping into execution mode from day one. What You’ll Be Doing: • Build and enhance a Snowflake (Azure) data platform • Develop dimensional models aligned to business KPIs • Implement ELT pipelines using dbt + Fivetran • Work across bronze / silver / gold layers • Translate business requirements into production-ready data models • Operate as a hands-on architect (majority build, not oversight) Must-Haves (Non-Negotiable): • Snowflake (Azure) — strong hands-on experience • dbt • Fivetran (or similar ELT tools) • Dimensional data modeling (this is critical) • Advanced SQL • Proven builder/do-er mindset — not just architecture Nice to Have: • Power BI • Healthcare or multi-source data integration experience • Consulting background Why This Role: • Immediate impact on a live build • Lean team, high ownership • Strong likelihood of extension + potential longer-term work Not a Fit If: • You’re a strategy-only or “paper” architect • No recent hands-on Snowflake + dbt work • Limited dimensional modeling experience
