Sr. Software Business Analyst
Are you a skilled communicator with a knack for bridging the gap between business needs and technical requirements? We're looking for a Senior Software Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. This is a remote position with a 12-month contract, offering a competitive rate of $92/hr.
Responsibilities
• Collaborate with Product Owners, UX Designers, and Software Engineers to define the scope and effort of proposed features.
• Elicit, document, analyze, and track business requirements from stakeholders.
• Facilitate cross-functional solutioning sessions to ensure alignment between business goals, user experience, and technical implementation.
• Translate business requirements into clear, testable user stories.
• Lead user story grooming sessions with UX Designers, Developers, and QA Analysts.
• Proactively identify risks, issues, and dependencies, and work to mitigate them.
• Develop a deep understanding of the application components and become a subject matter expert on the features and workflows.
Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field OR equivalent work experience.
• Ten or more years of experience as a Software Business Analyst working on customer-facing web-based software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in translating intricate business requirements into comprehensive and testable user stories.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Experience working in an Agile methodology like Scrum.
Preferred Skills
• Experience in Orthodontics.
• Experience or skills in Project Management.
• Experience in Healthcare or other regulated industries.
• Experience collaborating with UX Designers.
• Experience with BDD/Gherkin Acceptance Criteria format.
• Experience in Azure DevOps (Boards).
