Sr. Splunk Developer 12 mo. contract, renewable, perm possible Required Skills & Experience - 6 years of development experience with proficiency in Splunk development. - Strong Splunk SPL knowledge - Proven ability to identify problems and propose solutions. - Strong Python coding knowledge. - Prior experience working in an Agile environment. - Experience with GitHub/GitLab. - SQL database experience (MySQL, SQLServer, etc.) - NoSQL database experience, Redis preferred Nice to Have Skills & Experience - Strong PHP knowledge. - Symfony framework experience. - Strong React/Angular knowledge. - Strong Splunk MLTK or Splunk ITSI experience - Experience with either Artifactory or Jenkins - Redis experience Job Description Position Summary Insight Global is looking for a Sr. Splunk Developer to join the team of one of our telecommunications clients located in Plano, TX. This team typically works in 1-2 week Agile sprints on a variety of projects. Keys responsibilities for this role within each project may include… β€’ Technical Design & Specifications: Draft detailed technical specifications for system features and propose scalable database schema designs. β€’ API & Portal Development: Build the initial framework for vendor/partner portals and design comprehensive API blueprints for external system interactions. β€’ Core System Development: Implement core database schemas and develop functional modules for data ingestion and processing. β€’ API Implementation & Testing: Deliver operational APIs with complete unit test coverage and robust error handling. β€’ Feature & Portal Deployment: Complete and deploy vendor portal modules and implement key system features. β€’ Monitoring & Dashboard Creation: Integrate system logs into monitoring tools and develop dashboards for real-time performance and error tracking. β€’ System Integration & Interoperability: Conduct system integration testing and deliver APIs for inter-system communication. β€’ User Testing & Optimization: Support user acceptance testing, resolve bugs, and optimize database and processing pipelines for performance. β€’ Cross-System Integration & Refactoring: Develop integration modules for external systems and refactor codebase to align with best practices. β€’ Documentation & Training: Produce comprehensive documentation and training materials for internal teams. β€’ Final Deployment & Knowledge Transfer: Lead final production deployment and conduct knowledge transfer sessions with operational teams.
