Sr. Web Analytics Engineer (Local to NY, NJ, CT)

We are seeking a visionary technical leader to architect our modern web analytics ecosystemβspanning a major Shopify platform transition, server-side WebSDK, and GCP infrastructure.

Responsibilities
β’ Analytics Architecture & Tagging Governance: Own end-to-end architecture across Adobe Analytics, Launch, and WebSDK, defining data layer standards, report suite taxonomies, and server-side tag management using middleware architectures.
β’ Platform & Data Reconciliation: Architect cross-platform parity and variance thresholds across Adobe Analytics, Dynamic Yield, and Content Square to distinguish structural tool differences from true data defects.
β’ Modern Data & BI Strategy: Design GCP data platform pipelines/BigQuery architecture and partner on Tableau dashboard architecture, semantic layers, and governance standards.
β’ Agentic AI & Insights Automation: Architect AI-driven insight generation using Gemini (or equivalent), setting semantic layers, prompt boundaries, and self-improving feedback loops to shift from dashboard reporting to automated insights.
β’ Platform Migration Continuity: Define pre/post-migration KPI validation, risk mitigation, and revenue attribution continuity frameworks for e-commerce cutovers.
β’ Technical Leadership & Execution: Establish technical roadmaps and documentation playbooks while mentoring and reviewing offshore engineering implementations in an async-first operating model.
This 12-month contract offers the possibility of extension or conversion to perm.
You can work fully remotely, but you must live in NJ, NY, or CT.

Required Experience / Skills
β’ 8+ years in web analytics, leading complex tracking setups with Adobe Analytics, Launch, and server-side Web SDK
β’ Strong SQL experience
β’ Experience in a GCP environment (or similar cloud platform)
β’ Experience utilizing Tableau and connecting Paid Ad data from Google, Meta, and SA360
β’ Experience with website redesigns or platform moves (like Shopify), including data layer design and matching data across tools like Content Square and Dynamic Yield
β’ Experience setting up AI/LLM tools (like Gemini) to automatically analyze data, write prompts, and define metric rules
β’ Strong leadership and communication skills to guide offshore teams, create clear documentation, and work independently without direct supervision
β’ Bachelor's Degree
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without Visa Sponsorships or Transfers
