Role description
Merchant Solutions / Senior Technical Business Analyst

β’ Join the Core Authorization development team within Merchant Solutions as a Senior Technical Business Analyst supporting Migration efforts.
β’ Create, execute and maintain processes that support the Conversion Database toolset across the full lifecycle of bank and internal entitlement conversions.
β’ Elicit, define and translate business needs into clear, testable software requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria for large-scale software projects.
β’ Develop migration strategies, runbooks, data mappings and cutover/rollback plans to bring structure and predictability to merchant conversions.
β’ Collaborate closely with clients, business stakeholders, product owners and multiple development, QA and operations teams to align scope, timelines and deliverables.
β’ Drive execution of migration activities including validation of conversion results, defect triage, and postβconversion verification to accelerate speed to revenue.
β’ Document processes and maintain traceability, version control and audit-ready artifacts throughout the conversion lifecycle.
β’ Identify migration risks and issues, recommend mitigations and communicate status and impacts to stakeholders.
β’ Mentor and guide junior analysts and contribute to continuous improvement of migration practices and toolset usage.
β’ Strong background in technical business analysis or software requirements engineering with proven experience on large-scale software projects and migrations.
β’ Demonstrated experience defining and executing requirements, creating data mappings and developing migration/runbook documentation.
β’ Hands-on experience with database conversion or ETL toolsets and strong SQL/data analysis skills.
β’ Familiarity with Agile and traditional SDLC approaches; experience writing user stories, process flows and test cases.
β’ Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation and written/verbal communication skills.
β’ Highly collaborative, process-driven mindset with the ability to bring structure and predictability to complex migrations.
β’ Experience in payments, merchant services or Core Authorization environments is a plus
