We are delighted to be partnering exclusively with a respected professional body in the global energy sector to appoint a Statistical Review Project Leader. This six‑month contract offers the opportunity to lead the development of one of the world’s most authoritative and widely referenced energy data publications.
The Opportunity
The successful candidate will provide strategic direction and leadership for the 75th edition of the organisation’s flagship Statistical Review, due for publication in June 2026. This includes:
• Leading and mentoring a multidisciplinary team of analysts across multiple organisations
• Overseeing project governance, delivery planning, and cross‑functional coordination
• Managing senior stakeholders and ensuring effective communication across the project
• Working closely with communications, marketing, and content teams to support the publication and campaign
• Designing long‑term capability building, data acquisition processes, and quality assurance systems
About You
We are seeking an experienced analytical leader with:
• 5–10 years’ experience managing analytical, research, or insight‑based functions
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• High statistical and methodological literacy
• Understanding of global energy markets and data
• Strong project management capability (formal training desirable)
• Experience overseeing publications, datasets, or research products
• Ability to translate complex analysis into clear narrative
Knowledge of the organisation or its Statistical Review is advantageous but not essential.
